I'm Anna—a lover of creativity, food, and some good tunes
My design principles
I design with the conviction that technology should be user-centric and accessible to all demographics of users.
I design iteratively with the understanding that design is a process, not an end.
I design collaboratively because teamwork and multidisciplinary perspectives bring in valuable feedback.
My background
As a Korean-American, I am deeply proud of my heritage and my culture. The images below symbolize snippets of my life that have shaped me into who I am today. They reflect my own personal "user journey"—a blend of cultures, values, and experiences that inform my work.
Gingko
Persimmon
My love for persimmons reflects my deep appreciation for nature's beauty and complexity. Just like growing a perfect persimmon requires attention and patience, I pour the same care and dedication into my design work. Watching a persimmon go from astringent to sweet reminds me of my own journey as a designer, always learning and improving. The vibrant colors and rich history of the persimmon inspire me to blend tradition with modern innovation, creating designs that are both timeless and fresh.
Green onion
For me, green onions are the perfect symbol of where my Korean heritage meets my American experience. In Korean cuisine, green onions are a staple, adding a burst of flavor to countless dishes. Similarly, in American cooking, they are often used to bring that fresh, aromatic touch. My love of food becomes a bridge between these two halves of my identity. It’s through the simple green onion that I find a delicious harmony between my Korean roots and American life, blending flavors and cultures in a way that's uniquely me.
